Chelsea Eden Hazard

Chelsea vs Burnley

Chelsea host Burnley on Monday in a huge clash as they look to move into a Champions League place.

The Blues have four Premier League games remaining this season and sit 5th in the table on 66 points.

Chelsea are only behind 4th place Arsenal on goal difference and just one point off 3rd place Tottenham.

However, Maurizio Sarri’s side have played one more game than both the North London clubs.

Chelsea are also just two points behind 6th place Manchester United who also have a game in hand.

As a result, they really need to win their remaining four league games to stand any chance of finishing in the top four.

Hazard update after Slavia Prague

Another way Chelsea could earn Champions League qualification would be through winning the Europa League.

Chelsea were in Europa League action on Thursday vs Slavia Prague.

The game finished 4-3 with Chelsea’s goals coming from a Pedro brace, Olivier Giroud and an own goal.

Chelsea will now face Bundesliga outfit Frankfurt in the semi-final.

After the game though, there were fears that Eden Hazard could be injured.

The Belgian was heavily targeted by Slavia Prague players who earned a fair bit of criticism on social media during the tie.

It has since been reported that Sarri said that Hazard’s injury isn’t too serious, although he is in pain.
